Exhilaration, as Shola Oyeduntan launches campaign of political reconstruction in Osogbo

The coming of a dynamic personalty like Shola Oyeduntan into the foray of political enclave naturally signifies the beginning of change of old order and primordial tendencies for the good of all.

Of course, Oyeduntan must have picked and consciously assimilated the substance of what J.F. Kennedy, the 35th American President postulated in 1963, while addressing party faithful in Washington DC, saying," those who fail to participate in the politics of their environment risk being governed by their inferiors".

Having gathered necessary academic exposure and social orientation of creative dimension in a reputable tertiary dome, coupled with necessary native intelligence to lead without blemish, Oyeduntan resolved to prevent his inferiors from coming to the saddle and cause pain and chaos to his people.

To him, Osogbo South Local Government Development Area(LCDA) remains a single source of water for multitude inhabitants, hence, the need to protect it jealously and away from strangers of sort.

That Oyeduntan is a core stakeholder in the Osogbo agenda is an understatement, the grassroots leading light have lived and studied his political environment to understand the plight of every structure of that terrain and creatively map out potent solutions to tackle it headlong.

Born over four decades ago to the popular Oyeduntan lineage of Ile-Aladie Compound, in the present Ward 2, Isale-Osun, Osogbo, the political humanist, after successful academic pursuit considered infrastructural advancement as a strong signal of human development and growth.

He started his career with Stardust Estate, Lagos, before moving to Nimimlas Construction and later as Director at Lekgmog Project limited .

He was one of the principal partners that supervised the construction of Anthony Uduofia as well as AUD Primary Schools, in the Osogbo metropolis.

He has been playing a significant and priceless roles in the political activities of the present Deputy Governor, State of Osun, Mr Benedict Olugboyega Alabi since 2015.

Oyeduntan is presently the Personal Assistant to the Deputy Governor, and staunch member of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

While recently narrating the rationale behind his ambition to become the Chairman of Osogbo South LCDA, he said:" The zeal to serve my people and make indelible impact in the lives of every individual of the four wards that make up my area is predicated on my years of experience in the field of massive construction and social engineering.

"I have total conviction that I possess better understanding of human dynamism and social challenges ".
