The Deputy Governor State of Osun Mr Benedict Olugboyega Alabi on Sunday joined the entire congregation of St. Benedict Cathedral of Catholic Diocese of Osogbo in the celebration of Adult Harvest Thanksgiving of the Church. The event which was climaxed with Mass and Bazaar at the Church Cathedral  Popo Osogbo was presided over by the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Osogbo, Most Reverend John Akin Oyejola. The emir of Kano,Muhammadu Sanusi II, on Saturday advocated for jail term for the parents of the kidnapped Kano children for neglecting their children to roam aimlessly in the street. On October 12,the Kano police command announced the rescue nine children kidnapped in Kano and trafficked to Onitsha in Anambra State. The abduction of the children had left much concerns in the heart of jama'atu Nasrul Islam,presidency, Christian Association of Nigeria,right groups among others condemning the act and Kano state Government setting a panel of inquiry on the matter.
