The leading Aspirant of All Progressives Congress Party in Ilorin West Local Government has Commends the duo of Hon. Olawoyin Abubakar Magaji and Hon. Abdul-Gaffar Ayilara Of Kwara State House of Assembly for their Legislative Vibrancy.

Mr. Abdulkadir AbdulKareem Yusuf (JIMBA) has lauded the State legislature for what he termed landmark achievements recorded by the parliament, within the last 365 days of legislative activities.

The duo have displayed enviable democratic ethos worthy of emulation by other Honourable members across the Local Government in the state.

The Aspirant of Ilorin West Local Government give the commendation in Ilorin while addressing the press on the anniversary of the first year of active legislation. 

Mr. Abdulkadir AbdulKareem, said the relationship between the executive and legislative arm of governments must be ensure that the harmonious relationship existing between the two organs of government should be continuously sustained .

He maintained that the first 365 days of legislative activities of this assembly is worthy of celebration, considering the cordial relationship and the relative peace being enjoyed in the house and the state in general.

He added that, the present assembly has been a tremendous partner with the executive in the progressive agenda of dear government .

He further thank the people of Kwara State for the support in the efforts of State Government under Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq to combat the ravaging Covid-19 by complying with guildlines and measures put in place to prevent the spread of deadly disease in the State.

SOKOTO STATE GOVERNMENT ENROLL 75,000 CHILDREN IN SCHOOL.

Sokoto state  government under the Better Education Service Delivery Agency (BESDA) programme has enrolled  over seventy-five thousand children into basic schools in the state last year. Similarly, this year, the state government, under the programme, targets over 90,000 children for enrollment. Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal stated this Wednesday at the official flag-off of BESDA enrolment drive for the year 2020/21. According to Gov. Tambuwal under the programme, over 1,513 integrated Quranic Schools have been created just as teachers have been recruited and provided with books as well as instructional materials. The governor added that since inception of the present administration, education has been given utmost priority through the allocation of higher percentage in budgetary allocation. Over 10,000 security personnel deployed for Kano LG poll

No fewer than 10,000 security personnel have been deployed for the local government council election in Kano scheduled for Saturday Among them are 7,251 police officers, Kano State Police Commissioner, Habu Sani, disclosed on Thursday. Sani, in a statement by spokesman, Abdullahi Haruna, said the security personnel will be in all the 8,084 polling stations of the 747 wards of the 44 councils of the state during the election. "Adequate security arrangements have been put in place to ensure peaceful conduct of the election," he said. The police chief restricted the movement of vehicles, tricycles and motorbikes from 12:pm on Friday until 6:pm Saturday.
