*Why you should  consider Speaker as the Next NAOSS President❓and Who is Speaker❓*

  Let’s go by the appellation given to him *SPEAKER*.   He was honored  the *SPEAKER* title due to his Contributions when he served as the CAPACITY Students’ Union Government *Speaker* at   Federal College of Education (Special), Oyo, Oyo State. 

*Tesleem Ayowale Salahudeen ( SPEAKER)* hails from Ilobu, Irepodun Local Government, Osun State. He loves impacting the lifes of people positively wherever he finds himself.  He  is vying for the office of President  and he need your support and induction. 

*WHY PRESIDENT?*

This position is one of the most important office in the  Union as the President “is primarily responsible for safeguarding the academic interests and personal welfare of students” as well as “ensuring that the Association is acting in a way which promotes the academic interests and welfare of students”. 
Furthermore, I strongly believe that the welfare of students is the key to attaining academic excellence. It is therefore imperative for students to elect someone who understands their interests and who is committed in safeguarding such interests. I am therefore seeking your support and votes even as he offer himself to serve you as the Chief Servant. 

*WHY VOTE FOR SPEAKER?*

I humbly believe that he has the requisite skills and ability to function effectively as President  if elected. 
He has served in many Capacities. He served as Students’ Union Government Rt. Hon. Speaker at Federal College of Education (Special), Oyo, Oyo State in 2015/2016. He served at Ilobu National Students’ Union National Headquarters(INSU NHQ)  as President in 2018. I believe that these experiences will help him in functioning effectively and efficiently as President 

*WHAT HE SEEK TO ACHIEVE IF ELECTED?*

• To work with the State Government Especially (Ministry of Education)   in ensuring that the Osun State Students have the best Academic Standard. 

• To work efficiently and effectively with all the Local Governments indigenous Presidents and all the branch President for the progress of our dear Association.

• To ensure that all the Association programmes are centred on promoting the culture of equality, diversity and inclusion.

• To consistently and relentlessly represent the views and interests of all students especially as it concerns our education and welfare before the Government. 

According to Moshood  Kolawole Abiola, he said and I quotes, “the growth and development of people is the highest calling of leadership”. Your growth and development as a student is dependent on your Education and Welfare. He is determined to ensure your growth and development as a student by ensuring that issues relating to our academic interests and welfare are dealt with timeously, efficiently and effectively.

SOKOTO STATE GOVERNMENT ENROLL 75,000 CHILDREN IN SCHOOL.

Sokoto state  government under the Better Education Service Delivery Agency (BESDA) programme has enrolled  over seventy-five thousand children into basic schools in the state last year. Similarly, this year, the state government, under the programme, targets over 90,000 children for enrollment. Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal stated this Wednesday at the official flag-off of BESDA enrolment drive for the year 2020/21. According to Gov. Tambuwal under the programme, over 1,513 integrated Quranic Schools have been created just as teachers have been recruited and provided with books as well as instructional materials. The governor added that since inception of the present administration, education has been given utmost priority through the allocation of higher percentage in budgetary allocation. According to him various programmes have been introduced aimed at improving educational development in the state and assured that, his administration will continue to invest in education....

Over 10,000 security personnel deployed for Kano LG poll

No fewer than 10,000 security personnel have been deployed for the local government council election in Kano scheduled for Saturday Among them are 7,251 police officers, Kano State Police Commissioner, Habu Sani, disclosed on Thursday. Sani, in a statement by spokesman, Abdullahi Haruna, said the security personnel will be in all the 8,084 polling stations of the 747 wards of the 44 councils of the state during the election. "Adequate security arrangements have been put in place to ensure peaceful conduct of the election," he said. The police chief restricted the movement of vehicles, tricycles and motorbikes from 12:pm on Friday until 6:pm Saturday. "Except those on essential services, such as ambulances, fire service trucks, accredited pressmen/election observer vehicles."
